Task 5 written summary

Summary of my ideas
  • A baby on the bus crying out loud everyone one in the buss is getting annoyed and a person has a bag of sweets and give the baby one and the baby stops crying, everyone on the bus is watching and feels a relief once the baby stops crying, people saw what the kind girl did and i planned this because i think it will make people that are watching to do the same and do so if next time there are in that situation they will think of doing it.Main reason of this idea is that people will think to buy some sweets and give it to any child they see, which is an random act of kindness. The brief contains the purpose which is for me to make an viral advert video and make sure it contains random acts of kindness i need to bare in mind that its meant to be all random for examples doing something nice for strangers because you don't know them.the location will be in a bus and the cost will be around 2 pounds for a bag off sweets.
  • Someone in a shop is about to pay for what they are going to get and someone then offed to pay for them,it will be located in McDonald's the location will be an easy access because there a lot around the area i live in,this will be affordable because meals are quite cheap so the cost will properly be around the price of £5 pounds or less ,which is considered as an random act of kindness, because your randomly being nice this will fit the brief because it does what the brief requires,The audience is also 16-25 a lot of people around this age that i know personally go to places like McDonald's so it will reach out to its target audience.
  • Its cold outside and someone in the street hasn't got anything warm on to wear so someone gives the man an warm jumper to wear because they see that his feeling cold.the location for this could be anywhere random in the street, this could cost around 10 pounds for a jumper.
The idea that i have decided to stick to is someone buying a person a meal in McDonald's reasons being is that the the location will be easy to find to fill the advert there are a lot of restaurants around,A lot of young people go to McDonald's that are around the age of 16-25 so this will reach the intended audience. It wont cost that much to film. not a lot of actors will be needed only around two so i wont have to be replying on a lot of people,if some people decide not to turn up.

An idea i decided to ditch was idea 1 reasons being is that i would have to use my focus group or people around my age which is 16 or college students to be the actors and there would be no way that we could get a young baby to cry in the bus it seams impossible to film because there is always a lot people on public transport so it will be hard to film and not a lot of people will appreciate there face being on camera if they don't know the reason or would not want to be shown at all especially that the video will have to be posted on to social media such as YouTube etc.The point of the advert is for it to be an random act of kindness which doesn't have to be such a difficult thing to do and this idea is to complex.I also don't think it will reach the target audience because of the location and the fact that it will have to contain a young child.

Task 4: Generate 2 ideas

What will happen in your advert? (Collect 5 images using Shutterstock to show the narrative or story sequence)
My idea is to have the setting in a large city where its busy and have a poor man asking around for money, just for a few coins in but everyone that he ask walks straight pass him with out having a care in the world. am also going to have an rich man that works in the city ask for a few coins at random people in the street to add on money to what he already has, just to get get a sandwich and the strangers give him a lot more money then his asked for . It goes to show that people disscruiminate againts certain people because of their condition

   Homework
Media products like charity adverts include conversations in there adverts or someone talking about whats going or the issue that they are having and trying to get out to people to make then want to help the charity out because of whats been said or shown.for example they could be in a poor country and show an conversation going on between the one living in poverty but in most cases they have one person talking about how badly they are living to make the audience feel sorry for them which could make the audience want to help out.this could make the advert go viral through the internet when its been shared more people will see.
What can make an charity advert very successful and go viral is what it contains which is the six elements of viral buzz which are
11)    The taboo
22)    The unusual
33)    The outrageous
44)    The hilarious
55)    The remarkable
66)    The secrets

I am going to be evulating an advert that I've watched called ‘Random acts of kindness for pay it forward day’ this video was not successful because it did not go viral you can tell by the views.the video it self is badly performed and it didn't look nicely organized a message wasn't shown i was a bit confused when i first started watching it,it also didn't have any sound to it, didn't hear the people talking. There was only music which didn't go with the theme and didn't make scene. It didn't include any of the viral buzz elements. The advert did not go viral for multiple of reasons. It didn't look like something that will air on Tv while the adverts where on.There wasn't a specific message that went out.The people that watched it didn't enjoy it so they didn't share it.
